Amazing Fairy Tail Fan Art

Posted by : zahid
Fairy Tail Anime
Fairy Tail had been one of the most mainstream and popular anime of today's generation. It is a fantasy-action-adventure-comedy anime that depicts the endless adventure of Fairy Tail - a powerful and resilient guild of mages that treat each other as family. They encountered a lots of troublesome enemies, hardships against insurmountable obstacles but they stood tall and proud on what they believe and fight for it.

In my own opinion, Fairy Tail is a typical shounen anime that caught the heart of many anime fans because the plot is too mainstream and easy to understand. It has exciting and interesting characters with astounding developments. The fight scenes are epic and the anime itself is simply inspiring, touching and worth sharing.

Now, I've seen this Fairy Tail fan art image posted on Pinterest and it simply caught my attention due to its majestic visual. To the one who made this fan art, you're seriously superb.

Divosaga's Titan War Season 5 Results & Review

Posted by : zahid
Divosaga MMORPG
Hey guys, it's been a while since the last time I wrote something about Divosaga. I'd been having problem adjusting with my new job and seriously annoyed dealing with some of my superiors. Just the thought of seeing 'em daily made me want to return on my freelance life. Anyway, let's set aside personal matter and discuss about the season 5 of Divosaga's Titan War. I'm quite lost in this topic before since I missed playing 2 seasons and just came back this week but I wasn't able to play the finals last night.

Big news is that my server which is Aries (which had been merged with Aquarius, Pisces, & DS-FX before) now undergone a new server merge and that's with the powerhouse from Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo and Virgo (not sure with this one). This only means, a lot of stronger players once again in my server. Well, the thing there is that there's only fewer server that will fight for the Chaos War now and this will surely crush the remaining servers since these two are the top servers in the game. In fact, they also have several of the strongest guilds and monster players in their league.

Bad news, my own guild got kicked from Top 8, it's not really something that will messed up my playing though since I'd been passive in the game for almost 6 months. But I do hope to send some of my guildies on stronger guilds but it's their decision to make a choice. We'd been pretty solid and loyal members are still here, I remember we'd been in this guild since 2013. Nonetheless, I'm glad to see some of my old guildies too ravaging the top spot as they're on OFC and Epic now.

Finally, I'm in the same server as Vick and gabriel. I used to write before that these 2 bullied me but that was way way back around 2 years ago in the battlefield. Anyway, they're nice; a big "HI" to Vick out there whom I had some few words on Facebook comments section of DS page earlier.

It seems that I talked a lot of nonsense once again but let's talk to the main topic now. This is about Divosaga's Titan War Season 5. I would love to extend my big congratulations to Andiwijayaa, Feikei, dkhlw and Durian for winning this time. I'd been rooting for this team to win the big thing ever since Titan War started in the game. Well, that's quite biased since we're on the same server, I'd been their fan (this is not pun intended) for such a long period of time. Well, Durian actually doing good lately, I would also like to congratulate him on winning the Class Wars for Mages last time since I wasn't able to write a post about it.

Divosaga Titan War Season 5 Winner (Andiwijayaa, durian, dkhlw, Feikei from Outlawz_FC)

Divosaga'sTitan War Season 5 Results (Hall of Warlords)

In the ranking, it appears that the first ever winner of Titan War "Xask" party ended up at second place. As far as I know they also won the 2nd season of Titan War. Meanwhile, coming in the 3rd place is Vick's party which had been the winner in the past 2 seasons of Titan War (session 3 & 4 respectively). In the 4th place is Demure's party which I think every members are from SHIELD. And in the 5th place is MasK's party, I'm just wondering if Aussie and HazeL is a team member but nonetheless, all the teams in Top 5 are simply insurmountable.

My Top 15 Studio Ghibli Films of All Time

Posted by : zahid
Studio Ghibli Films
Studio Ghibli have been sitting in the pinnacle of success when it comes to anime film industry and it has been a legend on its own right. A studio that bring unforgettable, heartwarming and truly epical anime films that fans from all over the world will always remember. It had become a force to reckon with for almost 3 decades and penetrated the western world’s box office in many ways possible.

The theme of Studio Ghibli are ranging from childhood adventure, self-discovery, coming-of-age romance, environmental awareness, the grief of losing someone and moving forward, and indulging action-fantasy story. What really make Studio Ghibli films separate and top notch from others is the deep yet simplicity of its theme that makes the viewers wonder about their own actions, reminisce their past and relate the real-life scenarios with the story depicted in the film.

As an avid fan of Studio Ghibli, I would like to share my Top 15 anime films from Studio Ghibli. This list isn’t an expert’s choice; in fact it is too far from typical standard and cliché listing post about Studio Ghibli films from professional writers and popular websites. The ranking is purely based on my own standard and how each film satisfied my views of an ideal story, animation, visuals, and ending. Nonetheless, I hope that each and everyone reading this post will enjoy my list.

Studio Ghibli's Whisper of the Heart

WHISPER OF THE HEART (10/10)

Story wise, Whisper of the Heart is the only anime film that satisfied my craving for a romantic yet nostalgic plot. It shines on every aspect of the story, the animation was superb and the characters are all adorable. The visuals were so typical like any other anime you can find in the 90s but it simply amplifies and gives the focus on the story and how it was delivered. The naïve main character and her funny scenes were very relatable and I am sure, I’m not the only one who fell in love with Shizuku and Seiji’s love story.

Studio Ghibli's From Up on Poppy Hill

FROM UP ON POPPY HILL (9.4/10)

Another enticing and romantic story from Studio Ghibli with interesting plot and nostalgic atmosphere. It lacks the deep or any serious conflict that is necessary for a story’s progress; anyway it was able to stand with those cliché teenage romances, astounding musical scores, decent visuals and animation.

Studio Ghibli's Howl's Moving Castle

HOWL’S MOVING CASTLE (9.2/10)

This could be the most magical film that Studio Ghibli had ever released. Witchcrafts, magic and curses, those things only prove that love conquers all no matter what the hindrances are. In my own opinion, Howl and Sophie’s love story is one of the most intriguing, romantic and magical among the works of Studio Ghibli. The fun and excitement while watching their adventure were truly unforgettable experiences.

Studio Ghibli's Only Yesterday

ONLY YESTERDAY (9.1/10)

Only Yesterday is one of the most underrated films from Studio Ghibli. Story wise, it was simply one of the best in my own opinion and simply authentic. The plot is not your typical romance story but also explore the stage of life where you are asking yourself what you seriously want to do. It’s about embracing what you love, reminiscing important stages of your life whether it’s good or bad and showcasing what you’d learn from it.

Studio Ghibli's The Secret World of Arrietty

THE SECRET WORLD OF ARRIETTY (8.8/10)

I really find this film as charming, cute, and fun to watch. The animation is decent with stunning visuals and lovable characters. The atmosphere is simply calm and it gives you the desire to live within its universe. In addition, what I really love about this film is the undeniable chemistry between Shu and Arrietty, their friendship is really one of a kind.

Studio Ghibli's Laputa Castle in the Sky

LAPUTA: CASTLE IN THE SKY (8.8/10)

This may be the oldest film from Studio Ghibli yet its story isn’t really something that is original. In fact, so many elements of the story were adapted from other popular story; nonetheless, the animation, plot, visuals, character developments and entertainment factor were properly assembled making the film one hell of an action-adventure anime legend.

Studio Ghibli's Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind

NAUSICAA OF THE VALLEY OF THE WIND (8.7/10)

Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind is a truly revolutionary anime depicting a post-apocalyptic world where pollutions were rampant and shows how humanity’s greed destroyed the environment. It is one of those Studio Ghibli films that shows us the value of something and teaches us an important lesson in life and that is to protect the nature and despise humanity’s greed and hunger for power.

Studio Ghibli's When Marnie was There

WHEN MARNIE WAS THERE (8.6/10)

Studio Ghibli’s last project before going on hiatus. When Marnie was There is an indulging treat for every anime fans that will give you an exciting and nostalgic ride which will make you shed some tears as the story concludes.

SPIRITED AWAY

SPIRITED AWAY (8.5/10)

This may be a surprise for everyone as Spirited Away is the most successful and usually the number 1 film from Studio Ghibli in other people’s list. However, it’s not the case in my list, I love Spirited Away and it seriously amazed me and delivers that fantastic amusement that fans will expect. But, it didn’t capture my attention and keep my breath away for a longer period of time. Nonetheless, the film is seriously a pretty decent one.

Studio Ghibli's The Tale of Princess Kaguya

THE TALE OF PRINCESS KAGUYA (8.5/10)

Based on the classic Japanese literature “The Tale of a Bamboo Cutter,” this is really one of the most beautifully made films from the studio. The story itself is top notch but the animation simply exceeds excellent and graciously astounding and magical.

Studio Ghibli's Ocean Waves

OCEAN WAVES (8.4/10)

Ocean Waves is not your typical romance story. It’s not even romantic to begin with but there’s just something special in its plot that keeps my attention during the entire duration I am watching it. The characters are quite annoying but in the end, you’ll realize that it was too realistic and also gives off that nostalgic emotion.

Studio Ghibli's Princess Mononoke

PRINCESS MONONOKE (8.4/10)

An action-filled epic story, Princess Mononoke tells us an important story about human tendency to do evil in order to survive. This might be a selfish nature that we humans possessed but at the same time a necessity. Princess Mononoke delivered a wonderful narration and enlightenment to the viewers and raise awareness about environment issues that the modern world is actually facing right now.

Studio Ghibli's Kiki's Delivery Service

KIKI’S DELIVERY SERVICE (8.1/10)

A coming-of-age story about a witch on training, Kiki’s Delivery Service is a relaxing and adorable story to follow. It doesn’t have that much deep but somehow never fail to amaze and deliver an entertaining atmosphere during the entire duration of its run.

MY NEIGHBOR TOTORO

MY NEIGHBOR TOTORO (8/10)

This film is simply fantastic and light to the heart. A fun and exciting tale of adventure, My Neighbor Totoro is that film that wants you to return to your childhood days and enjoy life as we know it. It was too simple but truly entertaining and will leave genuine smiles in your heart.

GRAVE OF THE FIREFLIES

GRAVE OF THE FIREFLIES (8/10)

This might be one of the most tragic and sorrowful anime ever. A realistic portrayal of post-war Japan, it tells us the story of grief, abandonment, poverty, sadness and the negative impact of war in people’s lives. No matter what, it also gives us a sense of realization losing someone is the most painful challenges a man could face and it is up to us whether we succumb to it or defeat it.

I think I might update this list after few years as my sense of maturity and outlook towards different anime shows and it story somehow varies. Maybe what I think is good this time (upon writing) could be surpassed by other movies when I reached a certain period of time in the future.

5 Most Romantic Anime Series of All Time

Posted by : zahid
Most romantic anime series

There are tons of romantic anime series out there nowadays, however there’s only few that can pulled out that shivering butterfly-in-my-stomach feeling. In fact, majority of the romance anime are somehow redundant and simply relies on fan service. However, there are also those genuine romance stories that viewers will surely enjoy watching and give us that astounding feeling of satisfaction. In my own language, you will know that a romance anime is worth watching if it simply gives you the feeling of “KILIG,” well that’s Filipino word for romantic excitement.

So, below are 5 of the most romantic anime series that I believe simply embodies the very definition of the word ROMANCE. For sure, you’d seen one or two of these series, and you’ll approve why I included it in this list. If you hadn’t seen any of these series yet, you should seriously stopped what your currently doing and starts browsing on the internet to read some details and do yourself a favor of watching it.

Ao Haru Ride Anime

Ao Haru Ride

Who wouldn’t fall in love with Futaba and Kou? This duo simply embodies the high school romance that majority of people had experienced during their high school days. I believe this is the most nostalgic anime in this series on which many people could relate to. The comedy plus romance are perfectly mixed with cute yet painful conflict. To be honest, the most redeeming nature of this series is how Futaba was able to move Kou’s heart and open it to the people that truly care for him.

Say "I Love You" Anime

Say I Love You

The story of Say I Love You is quite a mature one. It’s not a cherry as Ao Haru Ride but no one can deny that it’s the most cheesy romance anime out there. Those kissing scenes, the struggle of opening one’s heart and creating friendships; those feelings and experiences are real. This is quite similar to Ao Haru Ride when it comes to the issue of social acceptance and making friends. The difference is that Kou is the one who shut up his world to the outsiders in Ao Haru Ride while it’s the female protagonist that severe her ties and close the door in the opportunities of friendship in Say I Love You. And both of their respective partners break those rules and open a brighter path on their lives.

Your Lie in April Anime

Your Lie in April

Your Lie in April is a sweet and musically amazing anime yet really painful to reminisce. On my end, I still can’t get over of what really happened and what is the “LIE” in the title itself. In a sense of bringing back someone to the right path, Your Lie in April is similar to Ao Haru Ride and Say I Love You. This anime is one of the best musical series of 2015 and I don’t want to spoil the series to readers who hadn’t seen it yet but this is a very heartbreaking one.

Snow Whit with the Red Hair Anime

Snow White with the Red Hair

Now, this is our typical romance story that we always encountered in those fairy tales. However, we don’t have a damsel in distress in this anime and I guess that what makes the story simply exciting and worth watching. A strong-willed woman filled with dreams and make us snuggling every time she have those romantic encounter with her handsome and a little bit naïve prince charming. Nonetheless, Shirayuki is definitely worthy of having the epithet of Snow White as she’s seriously one of the most beautiful anime girls nowadays both inside and out.

Related: Akagami no Shirayuki-hime season 2

Orange Anime

Orange

This is anime is by far very similar to Ao Haru Ride is so many aspects. If the criterion of this list is by plot, I wouldn’t put this one in here. However, it’s about the “MOST ROMANTIC” instead of “BEST ROMANCE” anime and I am proudly concluded that Orange is simply romantic and shivering. I just couldn’t hide my frustrations on how so insensitive and sometimes stupid is the main characters but nonetheless, they are able to give that “KILIG” factor on which every romance viewers are looking for. All those shivering episodes never failed to amaze me and I am sure that I’m not the only one who falls for how romantic this series is. In addition, Suwa the other guy is the man that you surely want to have a friend and many viewers simply falls for him.
