The Grand Lord Chinese Anime

Hey guys, we have another great action anime coming over this summer from China and it’s no other than the anime adaptation of the popular novel The Great Ruler. It’s the third installment of the trilogy composed by the Martial Universe, Battle Through The Heavens, and The Great Ruler – all written by the same author and with the first two novels already received anime adaptations. The first one is Battle Through The Heavens which was first animated in 2017. In fact, Battle through the Heavens anime season 3 is on its way as it is scheduled to air on July 21. While Martial Universe anime adaptation had its first season aired last January and it’s really amazing to have the final installment of the trilogy eventually getting an anime show.

The novel trilogy is written by Chinese author Heavenly Silkworm Potato and The Great Ruler will be adapted into an anime show titled as The Grand Lord or Da Zhu Zai. In a previous announcement, a set of character posters for The Grand Lord had been unveiled featuring its main characters.

The Great Ruler Synopsis

The Great Thousand World. It is a place where numerous planes intersect, a place where many clans live and a place where a group of lords assemble. The Heavenly Sovereigns appear one by one from the Lower Planes and they will all display a legend that others would desire as they pursue the road of being a ruler in this boundless world. In the Endless Fire Territory that the Flame Emperor controls, thousands of fire blazes through the heavens. Inside the Martial Realm, the power of the Martial Ancestor frightens the heaven and the earth. At the West Heaven Temple, the might of the Emperor of a Hundred Battles is absolute. In the Northern Desolate Hill, a place filled with thousands of graves, the Immortal Owner rules the world. A boy from the Northern Spiritual Realm comes out, riding on a Nine Netherworld Bird, as he charges into the brilliant and diverse world. Just who can rule over the destiny of their path on becoming a Great Ruler? In the Great Thousand World, many strive to become a Great Ruler. (Wuxia World)

What’s even exciting right now is that The Grand Lord release date had been announced in the recently unveiled trailer for the anime as seen below.

When is the release of The Grand Lord (The Great Ruler) anime?

This is definitely a question which is easy to answer as the Great Ruler anime is slated for release on August 8, 2019. However, upon doing this update, it not available online yet.

Where to watch The Grand Lord (The Great Ruler) anime online?

[Update] As of September 30, 2019 - KissAnime [dot] ru had posted the first eight (8) episodes of The Grand Lord on their website. Since there are only few available sources to watch Chinese anime in the internet these days, it's one of the main alternatives to watch The Grand Lord.

Though, I would like to recommend to check the official YouTube Channel of one of the translator/subber of the anime and that is NSubs Channel.

I believe it could be watch online in several Chinese anime streaming sites and channels including Kurina Official, Guodong Subs, Moon Cakes, Kingsman Subs, and animeseries.io, in fact these were the places where I usually watch Chinese anime, so I am confident we could watch The Great Ruler anime there soon.

The Grand Lord anime will air on August 8, 2019, and I am really excited to see it as the trailer itself shows some massive effort that the production team had invested for the upcoming anime. In spite of having some few nukes, the trailer really looks amazing and reminds me of those works from Wit Studio and ufotable from Japan. Furthermore, this is the only anime in the trilogy which is shown in 2D animation though it’s noticeable based on the trailer that The Grand Lord will be a combination of 2D and 3D animation as opposed to the Martial Universe, and Battle Through the Heavens which were in 3D.

[Update] Few days ago, a new set of screencaps images from the trailer of the Grand Lord had been release unveiling some pretty decent shots which makes me excited down to my very core. You can check the images as follows:

As an avid fan of Battle through the Heavens, I couldn’t simply keep my excitement for The Grand Lord though the animation really looks pretty decent, I just wish that its storyline won’t be a hindrance for the show to get a positive reception. Nonetheless, I could now feel a Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation vibes from this upcoming anime just by simply looking at its trailer though the story is definitely something special and unique on it alone.

[Update: July 12, 2019] A new visual poster for The Grand Lord had been unveiled featuring all the characters put altogether in one image with the two differing forces facing each other, and their allies behind them.

Furthermore, The Great Ruler is also slated to get a live-action drama before 2019 ends and below is their first trailer featuring Chinese actors: Roy Wang and Ouyang Na Na.

So, what are your thoughts about The Grand Lord anime trailer so far? Well, the anime is slated to air on August 8 and it’s just a matter of weeks until it officially premieres from iQiyi and studio Foch. We’ll definitely get some answers to some of our questions about it including the animation quality, the voice acting, the music, and even its story. What to Expect in My Hero Academia Anime Season 4 and When it Will Air?

Posted by : zahid
My Hero Academia Anime Season 4

Hey guys, the summer 2019 anime season is almost here and that only means that we are also getting closer to the highly anticipated return of Izuku Midoriya and his buddies from UA in the upcoming My Hero Academia Season 4.  As of now, I do share the same sentiment with everybody and our question definitely goes this way, when is My Hero Academia season 4 coming? If I will only follow my desires, I rather want it to return as soon as possible but the anime had been scheduled to air October 12 this year as part of fall 2019 seasonal lineup. So, we shall have to endure few more months until the 4thseason finally arrives but it is great to learn that My Hero Academia 4th season had been confirmed and is coming within this year, is it great?

My Hero Academia Anime Season 4

[Update] August 22, 2019: A new key visual for My Hero Academia Season 4 has been released featuring six (6) of our favorite UA students from Class 1-A. These includes Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo, Ochako Uraraka, Shoto Todoroki, Momo Yaoyorozu, and Eijiro Kirishima. Together with them are the BIG 3 students from UA - Mirio Togata, Nejire Hado, and Tamaki Amajiki in their hero uniform. We also have All Might in the background with his former sidekick Sir Nighteye who is the mentor of Mirio Togata. So, we should all watch out for My Hero Academia Season 4 release on October 12.

Having some information about when it will air might be enough but we’d been craving for quite some time already since My Hero Academia 3rd season ended on a major cliffhanger. Nonetheless, it still won the top spot for our list of best anime show of 2018.

My Hero Academia Season 4 Teaser

Everybody must have great expectations for My Hero Academia Season 4 especially since it left us on a major cliffhanger last season by introducing the top 3 students of UA High School or people often called them THE BIG 3. Therefore, we would like to share some of the stuff or things that we shall expect in the upcoming 4thseason of My Hero Academia starting with the BIG 3 as they will play major roles in the story this time around. As we are getting closer to its premiere on fall, we are gradually getting interesting news about it and among those were the character designs for the BIG 3 as we will finally get the chance to see them in action and fights in their hero costumes.

The BIG 3 members Mirio Togata, Tamaki Amajiki, and Nejire Hado sits atop the hero candidates in all of Japan and they’re three strongest students of UA High School. Aside from these three, My Hero Academia Season 4 will also showcase our favorite students from UA in their Hero Internship, and involved themselves in some major key battles against the villains.

My Hero Academia Season 4 Promotional Video Unveiled

What makes the fourth season of My Hero Academia an insurmountable chapter of its story as a whole is the fact that it will adapt the Shie Hassaikai arc or also known as Overhaul arc – currently longest arc in the entirety of My Hero Academia amounting a total of 41 chapters. Its premise is as follows:
The students Class 1-A learn about Hero Internships, which deals with being mentored by a real Hero where real experience can be gained.
My Hero Academia "Shie Hassaikai Arc"
My Hero Academia "Shie Hassaikai Arc" Cover

In this arc, our heroes in the making will encounter the notorious Shie Hassaikai group of villains – a Yakuza organizations led by the villain Overhaul. They will be the main antagonists this season and it’s going to be intense and I simply wish for it to be awesome and amazing as the last three seasons of the anime that gave us satisfying actions, and heavy drama. Nonetheless, My Hero Academia Season 4 may really go beyond our expectations as it may also cover or introduced us to the next season after the Shie Hassaikai arc which is called the Cultural Festival arc. The Shie Hassakai arc itself is sufficient enough to cover an entire anime season and everybody might be wondering where and when are they going to insert the Cultural Festival arc on its story. However, according to fan theories, My Hero Academia Season 4 may cover the entire Shie Hassaikai arc while introducing the Cultural Festival as another major cliffhanger at the end of the season. Well, it seems that the anime really knows how to keep the interest of its viewers and truly making us crave for more.

The Top 12 Strongest Characters from Inuyasha Anime Series

Posted by : zahid
I’ve been meaning to write something about Inuyasha in this blog a long time ago and I am quite happy to finally get the chance to share my thoughts about its world, and characters. Growing up as a 90s kid, Inuyasha had been a very influential anime for me. I remember that I was still at 5th grade when I first saw it on our local TV station and although it is kind of generic in the beginning, it is an addicting anime due to its wonderful storytelling, promising character development, and exciting world-setting.

12 Strongest Characters from Inuyasha Anime

In this post, I shall share who are the most powerful characters from Inuyasha and see what sets them apart from each other. In a story with supernatural creatures involving demons, exorcist, humans, and several entities from Japanese folklore, it’s easy to conclude the Inuyasha is a fun Eastern-oriented anime that showcase the beautiful heritage of Japanese culture and beliefs.

A short of introduction especially for readers who didn’t watch Inuyasha yet, it follows a high school girl Kagome who got transported 500 years in the past during the Sengoku period. Then, a wonderful, hilarious, exciting, and dangerous adventure began where he met a handsome half-human half-demon lad, a wandering perverted monk, a demon hunter, and young fox demon. Their group travel to defeat demons while collecting the shards of the Shikon Jewel on which the real evil lurks and is related to how she’d been transported into the past.

Inuyasha Anime Series

I won’t spoil that much about its story but the anime runs for a total of 197 episodes and even inspired 4 movies during the entire course of its run. The anime is based on a popular manga Inuyasha also known as Inuyasha: A Feudal Fairy Tale written and illustrated by Rumiko Takahashi who is also famous for her other works such as Ranma ½, and Rin-ne.

Inuyasha runs with a combined episodic and slice-of-life approach in its narration. We had encountered a lot of recurring characters in its story but most of the time we have Inuyasha’s usual gang and their nemesis Naraku in most of its episodes. Therefore, to share the list of strongest characters from Inuyasha, I might have missed some characters that only appeared once. However, I do believe that what I shall input below were generally what the most viewers of Inuyasha think are the most powerful sets of people in its world.

Sesshoumaru

Sesshoumaru

Arguably the most powerful living character in the world of Inuyasha, Sesshoumaru is the older half-brother of our titular main character. He is a demon lord who inherited and ruled the Western Lands after their father died. He is someone that I can call as an original villain who eventually became an anti-hero and at some point a very powerful ally to our protagonists. He is adept in swordsmanship and could easily overpower Inuyasha in pure brute force. While his strength definitely sits atop our list, there are occasions where he didn’t win against his brother and almost died fighting Inuyasha at one point, all thanks to the sword that his younger half-brother inherited from their father. A little fun fact, Sesshoumaru is also without a doubt the most handsome character from Inuyasha.

Demon of the Shikon Jewel

Demon of the Shikon Jewel

Without a name, this demon is the real culprit and could be called the real villain of the series. He is an immensely powerful dragon yōkai from ancient times. Not much is known about him other than the fact that he caused the great priestess Midoriko to trap their souls in what became the Shikon Jewel. At the end of the story, it is finally revealed that he manipulated Naraku at the tips of his hands.

Naraku

Naraku

The main antagonist in the story of Inuyasha. Aside from being an immortal-like creature who just won’t die easily, Naraku’s strength can be put into question. However, his greatest asset is his intelligence and his evil plots that makes him always ahead against his opponents. Despite his weakness of having a human heart at his core, Naraku is a cruel and manipulative demon, feared by many demons and even by his allies.

Magatsuhi

Magatsuhi

The evil presence corrupting the Shikon Jewel. This entity is an enemy who works with Naraku but was never his subordinate. He is a terrifying evil who will not stop until he gets what he wants. A testimony of his strength is the fact he sealed Kagome’s spiritual power which simply proves how powerful Magatsuhi is.

Inuyasha

Inuyasha

Our main hero is arguably among the strongest living character from Inuyasha. However, we had seen Inuyasha’s growth throughout their journey and he is no longer that innocent young demon who can’t walk the talk. Though his actions were impulsive and sometimes beyond reason, his strength has grown tremendously through experience. His father’s inheritance to him is also an additional factor that strengthens him. Being a half-demon and half-human, Inuyasha certainly has weak points compared to the full-fledged demon. However, that deficit is easily overpowered by the powerful bloodline that he got from his father who is known as one of the most powerful demons in the world-setting of Inuyasha.

Kikyo

Kikyo

Possibly the most powerful high-ranking priestess of her generation, Kikyo is a force to reckon with among demons and humans. She is feared by many demons and envied by another priestess. She was originally assigned the task to guard and purify the Shikon Jewel but eventually fell to the plot of Naraku, thus causing her own demise. She came back to life and became one of Naraku’s strongest nemesis while also aiding Inuyasha’s party on certain occasions.

Tōga – the Dog General

Tōga – the Dog General

The father of Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha. He is a very powerful demon lord who serves as the Ruler of the Western Lands. A great swordsman and well-loved leader by his people.

Midoriko

Midoriko

An immensely powerful priestess and the creator of the Shikon Jewel. Her spiritual power is well-known during her time as she could easily purify demons by rendering them powerless in her presence.

Miroku

Miroku

Although Miroku’s moral and soul could be questioned, his strength is undeniable. He is definitely among the strong human characters in Inuyasha and his greatest weapon at his own disposal is the curse called Wind Tunnel that sucks up anything on its path down to an endless void.

Sesshōmaru's mother

Sesshōmaru's mother

She’s the consort of the Dog General and the mother of Sesshoumaru. We never saw the full extent of her power aside from the fact that she’s in a similar level as her son. She has the power to open a path to the underworld and even brought Rin back to life which means she may have the power to control over death and life.

Ryūkotsusei

Ryūkotsusei

The dragon demon lord who is among the factor behind the death of the Dog General.

Kagome Higurashi

Kagome Higurashi

Last but not the least in our list is our main heroine Kagome. Being called the reincarnation of Kikyo, she possessed a very powerful spiritual strength similar to her predecessor. She is a stubborn lady with decent skills in archery but believe it or not, her shooting skills are beyond amazing. Later in the series, she’s finally able to control her spiritual power which helps their group to overcome so many hurdles along their way.

That ends our list of top 12 strongest Inuyasha characters though there are other names worth considering such as Bankotsu from The Band of Seven, Shitōshin, Kaguya from the 2nd movie, Princess Abi and her mother Tekkei (of the Demon Birds), Menōmaru, the dark priestess Tsubaki, Hitomiko, Tsukiyomi, Shishinki, and Koga.

Though our list is rank in no particular order, I am pretty confident they are so far the strongest characters from the world of Inuyasha. What about you guys, which one do you think is the strongest of them all and which one would you like to add or replace in the list in particular? On my end, I’ll vouch on Sesshoumaru as the most powerful Inuyasha characters.

The Most Hyped and Must-Watch Anime Shows from Summer 2019 Lineup

Posted by : zahid
Anime Shows from Summer 2019 Lineup

Hey guys, I could smell the summer breeze already as of now though we still have few more weeks before the spring season officially conclude. However, it sure it timely and relevant to take a look at the upcoming summer 2019 anime lineup and see which anime shows we should add to our watchlist to keep the hype alive.

We did have plenty of amazing anime shows airing this summer and that includes some giant titles such as 2015 hit DanMachi, and several anime adaptations of various popular manga series. Furthermore, some of the most beloved and definitely amazing anime from spring anime lineup was also continued as leftover anime and that includes Demon Slayer, Fruits Basket (2019) which were among our potential candidates for Anime of Season for Spring 2019.

So let’s start our list of must-watch anime from summer 2019 season with the most hyped giant shows as follows:

DanMachi II (Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? II)

DanMachi II (Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? II)

Premiere: July 12, 2019
Studio: J.C. Staff
Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru no Darou ka II. Alright, we have Bell Cranel and the effing hot goddess Hestia back for the 2nd season of Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? or also known as DanMachi for short. The first season of the anime officially premiered in 2015 and is considered as one of the best isekai anime of this generation following the path of Sword Art Online. Though the character development and writings might have some loopholes, it didn’t stop DanMachi from becoming a popular anime among viewers and with that being said, DanMachi Season 2 is definitely among the most hyped anime to watch out for next season.

Fire Force

   Fire Force Anime

Premiere: July 6, 2019
Studio: David Production
Enen no Shouboutai. Personally, Fire Force is one of the anime shows airing this summer that sits atop my watch list. In fact, I believe that this could be the next big thing this year as this popular shounen manga have a very promising premise. If you love seeing firefighters battling supernatural-inspired occurrence then Fire Force is definitely a must to be added in your list.

Dr. Stone

Dr. Stone Anime

Premiere: July 6, 2019
Studio: TMS Entertainment
Dr. Stone – this Science fiction adventure anime is definitely going to rock our summer season as it gives us an exciting shounen experience. This is actually the number one anime from summer 2019 lineup that I am most excited to see. The premise might be one of a cliché setting just like those from Attack on Titan, or any post-apocalyptic anime where the humans’ population diminish big time. However, this anime that tells us the quest for salvation and revival of human civilization with the help of no other than our precious friend – the Science is going to be an amazing ride.

Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest

Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest

Premiere: July 8, 2019
Studio: Asread, White Fox
Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Saikyou. Here we have another one of those fantasy harem clichés but wait… there’s more to Arifureta than what meets the eye. It’s a story about survival and all the elements that could be found in other anime shows in the same genre, however, with great narration, Arifureta definitely has the edge to bring the light novel inspired anime to a new height this season. In the end, this could be another generic isekai but what makes a great show is standing out amidst a very popular genre, isn’t it right and I believe that Arifureta has got what it takes to stand out.

Vinland Saga

Vinland Saga

Premiere: July 8, 2019
Studio: Wit Studio
A trip down to a Nordic world is waiting for us with Vinland Saga as we finally get some intense action-packed anime next season as this show will bring the ferocious Vikings back to life. A story so fierce, a drama so heartfelt, fight scenes so intense, and showing traits and emotions so unique to human beings. Furthermore, we are up for another bloody-filled and action-packed anime as Vinland Saga is animated by Wit Studio – the same powerhouse that gave us Attack on Titan, The Ancient Magus’ Bride, and Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress. The anime didn’t air yet but I could definitely feel how overwhelming this one could be.

Skilled Teaser Takagi-san Season 2

Skilled Teaser Takagi-san Season 2

Premiere: July 7, 2019
Studio: Shin-Ei Animation
Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san 2. One of our Top 20 Anime of 2018 is coming back this year and I am truly happy and grateful to see Takagi-san once again and her lovely shenanigans. I believe that Skilled Teaser Takagi-san 2nd season shall be a breath of fresh air next season as one of few genuine and wholesome romantic comedy anime amidst the rampant action anime titles on summer.

A Certain Scientific Accelerator

A Certain Scientific Accelerator

Premiere: July 12, 2019
Studio: J.C. Staff
Toaru Kagaku no Accelerator. Alright, so we have A Certain Scientific Accelerator airing on summer and I am really excited for this since he is my favorite character from its original anime franchise which is A Certain Magical Index. If I may be bolder here though, A Certain Magical Index has too many loopholes that regardless of how promising it is, a certain part of myself is not convinced of its success. However, this one is a separate matter as Accelerator had been one of the most liked characters from the franchise and having him as the main character definitely puts this interesting antihero to a new light.

How Many Kilograms are the Dumbbells You Lift?

How Many Kilograms are the Dumbbells You Lift?

Premiere: July 3, 2019
Studio: Doga Kobo
Dumbbell Nan Kilo Moteru? This anime might have a contradicting aspect as Dumbbell Nan Kilo Moteru? Isn’t really heavy as what it may sound. It is based on a fun slice of life manga with the same title and I think I could compare it with this season’s Cinderella Nine in August. However, this anime doesn’t have that much of a depth of its story aside from the fun cliché of cute girls doing cute stuff. Nonetheless, it is definitely a good anime to follow next season for a change of pace from action anime shows.

GIVEN

GIVEN

Premiere: July 12, 2019
Studio: Lerche
GIVEN – I’ll say this is a very dear anime to me. This goes beyond the drama, the music, and the romance in it. Given is one of those few shounen-ai anime that caught my attention and it has a very promising plot to follow. I have seen that many people thought or labeled this as YAOI and I think it is quite confusing because Given goes beyond the definition of boys love. It’s a fascinating and sweet story of romance and realistic shounen-ai drama. If there’s any word that I could describe this anime, it could BOND – as it gives us a glimpse at how powerful music is, as a tool to connect people’s feelings, emotions, and dreams.

Isekai Cheat Magician

Isekai Cheat Magician

Premiere: July 10, 2019
Studio: Encourage Films
We have another adventure-fantasy isekai story here and literally, the title itself gives us the hints that this anime is all about magic and what lies beyond that. Looking at its premise and plot, Isekai Cheat Magician is just another isekai anime that follows the same path as other giants on its respective genre such as Overlord, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, The Rising Shield Hero, Magi’s Grandson, etc. However, its trailer and teaser visuals were interesting enough to keep my attention on it. Who knows, this may actually have something fresh to offer and I couldn’t be happier to see that this summer.

Do You Like Your Mom? Her Normal Attack is Two Attacks at Full Power, Okaasan Online

Do You Like Your Mom? Her Normal Attack is Two Attacks at Full Power, Okaasan Online

Premiere: July 13, 2019
Studio: J.C. Staff
Tsuujou Kougeki ga Zentai Kougeki de Ni-kai Kougeki no Okaasan wa Suki Desu ka? Is another isekai story in our lineup on summer. This adventure-comedy anime is going to make us laugh so hard with how ridiculous and cliché it is. The story is actually quite promising, imaging having your mother as a party member when you transported to an RPG world, isn’t that creepy and awkward at the same time? Nonetheless, for people who love isekai, this one could be a great addition to your list of shows next summer. It’s actually funny and kind of unique to the cliché pairs that we got from some of the isekai that were previously shown, so I believe this could be a great ride to have.

If It's for My Daughter, I'd Even Defeat a Demon Lord

If It's for My Daughter, I'd Even Defeat a Demon Lord

Premiere: July 4, 2019
Studio: MAHO Film
Uchi no Ko no Tame naraba, Ore wa Moshikashitara Maou mo Taoseru kamo Shirenai. Another fantasy anime on summer and this one is rather relaxing, thriving on giving us a great story than edgy action-packed animation.

Astra Lost in Space

Astra Lost in Space

Premiere: July 3, 2019
Studio: Lerche
Kanata no Astra. An upcoming anime adaptation of a popular manga which is known for having the same type of powerful narration as Attack on Titan, and The Promised Neverland. Astra Lost in Space is a pump up adrenaline story of excitement and survival. I personally believe that this anime could be a dark horse next season and may potentially take the Anime of the Season title due to how awesome its pure storytelling is.

Naka no Hito Genome [Jikkyouchuu]

Naka no Hito Genome [Jikkyouchuu]

Premiere: July 7, 2019
Studio: Silver Link.
This is another game of death anime that will cover our summer season with darker emotions and the quest for survival. This could be a great psychological anime to follow on summer, an early preparation for the upcoming Psycho-Pass Season 3 which is slated on fall 2019 lineup. Nonetheless, Naka no Hito Genome seems to have what it takes to give us an exciting experience of drama and thrill.

To the Abandoned Sacred Beasts

To the Abandoned Sacred Beasts

Premiere: July 1, 2019
Studio: MAPPA
Katsute Kami Datta Kemono-tachi e. This one is a rather exciting fantasy shounen anime which is pretty fun to follow. It is quite cliché though as it features the humans vs. monsters theme which is very rampant in other anime works too. However, no matter how generic the story might be, a great factor to consider is how well the animation and story’s execution could be as it may either make it or break it for an anime show. And I believe that To the Abandoned Sacred Beasts could be an exciting ride, though hopefully, it won’t follow the same footsteps as Sirius the Jaeger.

Try Knights

Try Knights

Premiere: July 2019
Studio: Gonzo
A pretty decent story for a sports anime. Gonzo is back once again and I am hoping that we’ll get something better from them this time around just like the good old days. Try Knights is a story of two young people whose heart had been captivated by sports. Personally, I really feel great to have another exciting Josei airing this summer as something new and fresh to follow.

Gorgeous Butterfly: Young Nobunaga

Gorgeous Butterfly: Young Nobunaga

Premiere: July 8, 2019
Studio: DEEN
Kochouki: Wakaki Nobunaga. We finally have an original anime here in our list and it truly is amazing to see something new coming out from a historical drama genre. Yes, you read it right, Gorgeous Butterfly: Young Nobunaga tells us the drama of the youthful days of one of most powerful person in Japanese history. This is a bold adaptation of the life of Oda Nobunaga in his teens together with his brother Nobuyuki showing us a part which we had never seen before about the powerful warlord.

Lord El-Melloi II Case Files: Rail Zeppelin Grace Note

Lord El-Melloi II Case Files: Rail Zeppelin Grace Note

Premiere: July 7, 2019
Studio: TROYCA
Lord El-Melloi II Sei no Jikenbo: Rail Zeppelin Grace Note. A mystery-fantasy anime, this anime is a rather peculiar one that I badly want to see. The first part of the anime will be an original once while the latter half will be based on the original light novel on which it’ll be adapted. A game for survival, this anime will definitely going to be next season’s grand battle royal and I just wish that what they in store for the viewers will be as amazing as its original source material.

Will you please like hentai if it's cute?

Will you please like hentai if it's cute?

Premiere: July 8, 2019
Studio: Seven x Geek Toys

Kawaikereba Hentai demo Suki ni Natte Kuremasu ka? And here’s another harem and a naughty one. This could be one of the funniest anime next season and it couldn’t be more amazing and funny than a combination of comedy and hentai altogether. Can this be another Quintessential Quintuplets? I’m not sure but it could be a hilarious ride this summer that every harem fans could enjoy.

Aside from new anime shows, we also have the leftover anime series from spring 2019 lineup and some of them will definitely give summer 2019 a great competition. So, let’s take a look which anime from spring season continues its run to summer.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba

Delving deeper into the conspiracy of the existence of demons in the world, I am really happy that ufotable is giving us a great shot to Demon Slayer. Given the time to grow and develop its story, Demon Slayer could be a potential Anime of the Year for 2019. So what to expect this summer from the anime is definitely the appearance of the other pillars of Demon Hunters and the arrival of more demons. Obviously, a clash between Tanjirou and Muzan Kibutsuji is going to happen, but I want to see more of Nezuko’s growth and to see the other members of Tanjirou’s company.

Fruits Basket (2019)

Fruits Basket (2019)

Another great anime continuing its run on summer is Fruits Basket and I felt like we’ll have teary eyes and a heartbreak anytime soon even if the summer season is truly hot. We’ll get to know more about the Soma family and also this mysterious Akito. Nonetheless, Tohru sure is a great contender for Anime Girl of the Year for 2019, isn’t she?

Carole & Tuesday

Carole & Tuesday

Yes! The exciting adventure of Carole & Tuesday continues and I couldn’t wait anymore how this duo will take over Mars with a storm through their music and soul.

YU-NO: A girl who chants love at the bound of this world.

YU-NO: A girl who chants love at the bound of this world.

I am still not seriously convinced with this anime but I think having it continue on summer simply gives it more time to evolve and finally unveiled a better side of itself. I have mixed thoughts about YU-NO: A girl who chants love at the bound of this world. and I’ll be more than happy if its continuation will prove me wrong and show me that there’s more to it than what I have seen so far.

Ace of Diamond Act II

Ace of Diamond Act II

This classic continues its run to summer and simply keeps on showing that it is one of the best sports anime this year.

We also have tons of interesting anime movies coming this summer of 2019 such as the following:

KonoSuba Movie

KonoSuba Movie – Kazuma and his gang of unfortunate ladies were back once again and will give us another hilarious trip this summer. I could vouch that KonoSuba Movie could be the funniest film next season.

Tenki no Ko: Weathering With You

Tenki no Ko: Weathering With You – Makoto Shinkai is back and there’s no doubt that his new film is the biggest name among movies this year. With the success of Your Name., Makoto Shinkai’s reputation had been cosmic on which fans will and could expect for godlike animation on any of his new works which include the upcoming Tenki no Ko slated to premiere on July 19.

Seishun Buta Yarou wa Yumemiru Shoujo no Yume wo Minai Movie

Seishun Buta Yarou wa Yumemiru Shoujo no Yume wo Minai Movie – One of the best romance anime of 2018 is coming back and it’s going to be romantic and complex than ever.

One Piece: Stampede

One Piece: Stampede – I don’t think I should say any more about this, we’re all familiar with One Piece and we all know how powerful and influential it is. By simply looking at numbers, we could tell that One Piece: Stampede will make 2019 an exciting one to remember for One Piece fans especially that its anime series is also entering its highly anticipated Wano Kuni Arc.

Ride your wave

Ride your wave – another beautiful anime movie to watch out for this summer. It reminds me of Studio Ghibli works and Mamoru Hosoda films, and I believe it will also perfectly suits the taste of anime fans who love Makoto Shinkai.

The King’s Avatar: For the Glory Movie

The King’s Avatar: For the Glory Movie – So, the biggest Chinese anime of today is here and aside from The King’s Avatar season 2, the series also gets a prequel movie which is scheduled for release August 16.

The King’s Avatar: For the Glory Movie

Children of the Sea – This anime movie reminds me of Children of the Whales, one of the most beautiful anime of 2017. I could feel Studio Ghibli vibes here and it truly looks amazing and wonderful – both visually stunning and emotionally heavy.
